TRS Idli rice is characterized by short, loose grains. It is raw rice, which is considered to be particularly aromatic, tasty and easily digestible. It can be used with urid dal to make the batter for the popular South Indian idlis and dosas.
Rice should be rinsed under cold water before cooking. The rice can be prepared in a saucepan (cooking time approx. 15 minutes) or in the microwave.
