Lao Gan Ma’s chilli sauce made from soybean oil, peanuts, kohlrabi and tofu has become an indispensable part of Chinese cuisine or as a spice. The glass is filled to the brim with dried chillies and tofu cubes as well as peanuts and kohlrabi for extra flavour. It makes an excellent base for spicy dips that are served with minced tuna or shrimp tempura.
